Halo 4 Blanketby ~Orahs-Cosplay

After 40 hours of work and two needles latter, I have finished and gave my Halo 4 blanket today to my best friend. And he LOVED it. I am a Halo 4 fan myself and wanted to make something really unqiue and awesome so I made this!

It is made out of fleece and all sewn on so it is machine washable! (WOOHHOOOO). It is a tie blanket which took forever since it is over 6 feet long and about 3-4 feet wide. It is super thick and warm even though it doesn't get that hot in Texas LOL.

Construction notes

This blanket was made from hand, that means that I drew out with washable marker the desgin on white fleece that I bought from Joanns. The letters where a PAIN as each had to be the exact same size and uniform. After the whole desgin was cut out and prefected I temporay glued it with fabric washable glue so that when I sewed it would stay. While sewing since this was SOOOOO big I had to contastly pull my machine and nearly chopped off my fingers in the process. I didn't want to just glue it down as it would come off when washed. Which ruins all the hard work I put into this baby. After sewing it down and prefecting anything I might have missed I cut another piece of black fleece and cut and tied it. Then WAHLA! Done....
